Patti Swain
Patti has been part of the Animal Health Services team since December of 2005. Patti and her husband share their home with 3 dogs and 1 cat. She also does a lot of work with rescue groups, and helps take care of foster pets. In her spare time she enjoys reading, camping, and hanging out with her pets. Whenever she can, she flies back home to New Hampshire to visit her children and beautiful grandkids.
Becky Didier
Becky has been part of the AHS team since September 2002. She shares her home with her husband, 1 yellow Lab, 1 Rottweiller and 9 cats. She is very active in animal rescue, and the spay/neuter program. In her spare time she enjoys scrapbooking, writing, needlework, baking and hiking.

Stephanie Griffin
Stephanie has been with AHS since September 2008, and brings with her over 20 years of veterinary experience! She enjoys spending time camping with her husband Scott, daughter Emma, and son Bradley. In addition she has a 7 year old Australian Shepherd named “Bryce.” a Boxer named “Rok-Z” and a Boxer puppy named “Pearl”. Some of Stephanie’s other hobbies include hiking, vacationing in places like Rocky Point Mexico, and off road exploration.
Melissa
Melissa started at AHS in November 2008 bringing with her over 2 years of experience in the veterinary field and a lifetime love of animals. In her spare time Melissa enjoys rock collecting, crafts such as sewing and pressing flowers, hiking and considers herself a foodie. She loves to talk, cook, bake and eat food. One day Melissa hopes to start her own non-profit rescue/retirement/rehabilitation sanctuary for pets.
Cindy Chamberlin
Cindy, originally from Roswell, New Mexico moved to Phoenix in 1981 with her husband of 30 years. They have a son, Colton, 29. She graduated from Ottowa University with a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources. She also holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management. She worked in Telecommunications for 27 yrs, part of that time in management. After leaving in 2005, Cindy started her own business “Impressive Threads Embroidery.” Cindy loves working at Animal Health Services as our evening/late night receptionist due to the great staff, clients and their wonderful pets.
Julie Cordwell, Nutrition Consultant
Julie began her career at Animal Health Services as a Greeter in January of 2010, bringing with her a wealth of administrative and managerial experience. After spending many years in corporate America, Julie ventured out into the culinary world, graduating from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago. Over the years, she worked in a variety of venues as an Executive Chef , European Foods Sales Rep., Caterer and Events Coordinator.
Julie’s passion for animals and continued interest in nutrition for the body and mind led her to assume the position of Nutrition Counselor at Animal Health Services. In early 2011 Julie received her Veterinary Nutritional Advocate Certificate and now enjoys working with pets and their people, providing life changing, nutritional services and support.
Julie lives in Cave Creek, with her husband, two children, 6 rescued ‘fur’ children and a Mali Uromastix. In her spare time, Julie enjoys visiting the ocean, shell collecting, cooking, beading, needlework, reading, research, meditation and yoga.
Sandra joined the Animal Health Services family in 2007. She really enjoys welcoming our clients and their pets into our hospital while making sure they are comfortable and their needs are being met.
Sandra lives in Cave Creek with her husband of 27 years and their 5 “furkids.” Their pack is made up of 2 Australian Shepherds, Mocha and Latte and 3 rescue Cattledogs named Rico, Annabelle and Sage.
In her spare time Sandra loves to go hiking and jeeping in the Arizona desert. When she is not spending time outside, she enjoys reading and going to the movies.
Teresa joined the AHS team in 2011 as our weekend urgent care receptionist. She comes with much experience in the animal industry. With her BS in Zoology from Michigan State University she has worked as a reptile, mammal and avian zookeeper at the Phoenix Zoo as well as the shelter manager for Animal Care & Control.
During the week Teresa works for Cave Creek Town Hall utilizing her Masters Degree in Public Administration.
She has many pets including a Boxer, Chihuahua, cat, African gray parrot, Sulcata Tortise and a variety of snakes and lizards. In her spare time she enjoys camping, hiking and scrapbooking.
A native to Wisconsin, Alice attended University of Wisconsin and later moved to Seattle where she married and had a career as an advertising project manager. After visiting Cave Creek, AZ as a tourist for 10 yrs, Alice decided to move here.
Alice graduated from Pima Medical Institute in the medical assisting program and accepted a job in 2011 at Animal Health Services fulfilling her lifelong desire to work with animals.
No stranger to loving pets, Alice has 3 dogs and 10 cats!
