Bobbie Lind, C.V.T.
Bobbie joined the staff at AHS in October of 2006 and has over 25 years in the veterinary field. Bobbie and her husband Lucky have a Lab named Benny and 2 cats, Eeyore and Lucy. She loves horseback riding, ATV’s, movies, and spending time with her family. Bobbie was born and raised in the valley of the sun and loves to find new ways to educate herself and others.
Carrie Escobar, C.V.T
Carrie has over 9 years experience in the veterinary field and has been part of the staff here at Animal Health Services since July 2004. Carrie and her husband Jaime have 2 German Shepherds named Jasmine and Tori and 2 cats, Cosmo and Dirk. Congratulations to Carrie for obtaining her C.V.T. in April of 2008, Way To Go!! She loves watching football, Da Bears, going on walks with Jaime and her dogs, and watching movies.
Teri Sorenson, C.V.T.
Teri has been a valued employee of Animal Health Services since March of 2000. She moved from California to Arizona in 1998 and has been in the veterinary field since 1987. Teri, her husband, and her daughter live in Northern Phoenix, and share their home with a Lab (mix), 2 cats and a fat tailed gecko. Teri enjoys making jewelry, cooking, sewing, and spending time with friends and family.
Monica Prince, C.V.T.
Tina BreaTina our “Lab Rat” has been with us at AHS since 1996, was welcomed back full time in March of 2005 and has over 16 years in the animal health field. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Tina was transplanted to Arizona in 1988. At home with her is her hubby Moe, several horses, and a herd of dogs. Some of Tina’s hobbies include horseback riding, photography, Tiffany shopping, and working with her Mini Aussie Kiwi on agility.
Native to Arizona, Leigh Carson has been working with local vets since 1995. She joined Animal Health Services in April of 2001.
Leigh has a long history of working with animals. Following in her mother’s footsteps (a vet tech since the 70’s) Leigh helped place rescue pets with senior adults as a Girl Scout project.
She attended Long Medical in the 1995 vet tech program and moved on to work with Adobe Mountain Wildlife doing wildlife pick-ups and rehabilitation. She also assisted her mother with transporting ASPCA emergency and injured animals. She has assisted local wildlife rescues groups by rehabilitating and re-releasing birds.
Leigh has 5 human kids, 5 rescued dogs, 1 rescued cat, 2 rescued birds and a wonderful husband. In her free time she enjoys collecting skulls from across Arizona, hiking, ghost town hunting and exploring and training her dogs.
Nancy Marcin
Nancy has been a member of the AHS team since September of 2004, and has worked in the veterinary field for almost 6 years. Along with her husband and son, she shares her home with 1 dog, 1 cat, a desert tortoise, and some fish. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and reading with her son. Nancy has always wanted to work with animals, and she left a career of over 22 years to pursue her dream. She enjoys the challenges that come with the job, and is currently pursuing her CVT license.
Pam Welsh
We welcomed Pam to the Animal Health Services team in May of 2008. Her family includes her husband, her son and her 2 dogs, Shelby and Mindy. She is originally from San Diego, and enjoys going back to visit friends and family there. She loves spending time with her family going to the beach, taking the boat out to the lake and just enjoying the water, sun and fun that Arizona summers bring.
Amanda is currently a full time student at Glendale Community College working towards her Bachelors Degree in Biology. She has been a veterinary technician for over 5 years. She has two cats; Dashi (male) and Natas (female) and two Chihuahuas Layla (female) and Niko (male).
Kate Dial
Kate joined the AHS team in Oct of 2010. Originally from W. Michigan, Kate moved to Phoenix almost 2 years ago. She is currently a 4.0 student, class rep and ambassador at Anthem College. She will obtain her associates degree in April of 2012 for her CVT. Kate completed her Veterinary Nutritional Advocacy (VNA) in May of 2011.
She has 2 cats and an ever-changing array of rescue dogs she fosters for “Poverty’s Pets.” Just in the last year she has placed 8 dogs into their new forever homes.
Tomi Gilliam
Tomi joined Animal Health Services in 2011 and is currently one of our overnight Pet Urgent & Critical Care Technicians.
A native Californian, Stephanie moved from San Diego to Arizona in 2005. While volunteering for the San Diego Humane Society in 2001, Stephanie developed a love for working with animals and decided to pursue a career in the veterinary industry.
Starting as a kennel assistant, Stephanie has quickly worked her way up to working in medical and advanced surgical procedures in orthopedics. Stephanie has proven to be a great asset at Animal Health Services.
Dan Fonza
Dan has been at Animal Health Services since August of 2004 and brings 4 years of experience with our healthcare team. He has a long haired Dachshund named Brownie. He enjoys skiing, traveling, racquetball,basketball and hiking in his spare time. Dan enjoys taking time out to expand his knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine, and learning as much as he can. Dan has recently obtained his Bachelors in Life Science, and attends the DVM program in Edinburgh, Scotland at the University of Edinburgh, Royal (William Dick) School of Veterinary Studies

Tom Sitton
Tom joined the Animal Health Services team in August of 2007. He shares his home with his wife, 2 children, and their Labrador Retriever.
