We recommend that you bring your pets stool in at least once a year to check for parasites. Worms are seldom visible in your pets stool, so we need to examine the stool under a microscope to look for eggs and bacteria that may be present. One common parasite called roundworms can be transmitted to humans, and has been known to cause blindness. A fecal examination is a simple step for preventing potential problems for your pet, and sometimes even yourself!
