Most girls turning eight would ask for toys, games, or clothes for their birthday but not in the case of Bella Puente. Bella is a special girl. For her 8th birthday present, Bella asked her friends and family to give her pet food to donate to Four Peaks Animal Rescue (4PAR).
After speaking with Bella’s mom, Kim, we found out this is not the first time Bella has chosen others over herself. She has been known to adopt rescued pets and even had her beautiful long hair cut and donated to “Locks of Love.”
At her birthday party, a separate table was set up for the donated food and a member of 4PAR picked the food up following the gathering. What a great example for all the children and parents.
